Recently I watched The Phantom of the Opera for the first time. I was surprised to see some of the on stage costume make up resembling that of Marina and the Diamonds; cliche heart on cheek, elaborate eyes, pale skin tones. Apparently the look stems from the Victorian period. I've been inspired by this particular doll look for a while, having sported the heart on cheek during my birthday celebrations over the summer and loving the more artistic fake eyelashes. I once again recreated the iconic look for a recent night out, although it is a look far more adapt for tea parties, fancy social events and classy parties. In the description it may look like a lot of make up, but that is mainly due to my impromptu blends of eyeshadows. Maybe it'd be clearer if I did a tutorial instead.
